Agency Benefits Coach
Jim Lee began in retail financial services in 1970 as a self-employed life insurance agent. In 1982 he started Jim Lee Insurance, Inc. in Lakeland, FL and nurtured a successful employee benefits agency for twenty years on true customer service, a caring staff, and credible industry expertise unmatched in the area. In 2001, Jim sold his firm to a privately held agency and stayed on to almost double the benefits department revenue in three years. Still looking for his next challenge, Agency Benefits Coach™ seems to fit Jim’s professional needs. Jim maintains the credentials of: REBC, RHU, AEP, ChFC, CLU. He is past president or officer of several local chapters of professional associations.
After seven years as the benefits coordinator for a large chemical firm, Nancy Young joined Jim Lee Insurance, Inc. in Lakeland, FL in 1987 as account executive and manager. Nancy managed all service, implementation, and policy renewals for new and existing customers, processed all account receivables and payables, including semi-monthly payroll, and hired and trained all staff. She followed Jim to the company he sold his to, and for four years managed all aspects of the 15 person benefits department. She maintains the credential of RHU and graduated with honors, Associate of Arts in Business Administration. Nancy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, with a concentration in Management and Marketing.
